Basically it's designed to go into a battle area, and blow it to bloody ribbons. This with an assortment of overwhelming firepower, such as the dual grenade or vulcan cannon, which can be loaded with high explosive, or even air-burst,and special type munitions. It also has four separate harkens built into the design to give maximum multi-directional combat capability. If by some chance a unit is taken out (pilot life signs disappear), the unit's SEED system will activate, detonating an armor-wrapped high-yield Sakuradite explosive which lies in the empty ejection systems compartment .

The Burai/Glasgow frames were outmatched within 5 ep's of being shown lol (i.e. Lancelot/Gloucestor/Guren reveals). Granted I find them quite cool considering they are the basis for 80% of the first season's machines.

True and they were also different variations of the Burai/Glasgow. Take for example the Burai-Kai though they don't look much different.

You sure have a lot of equipment on that thing, a melee favour I see. But wouldn't it be better to instead of all the harkens and explosives, or along side for that matter, at least a couple of normal ranged weapons too? If memory serves me correctly the close combat Knightmares, like Gloucester, didn't last that long and explosives simply due to the weight and air resistance are easily avoidable. Just some pointers. And by no means would this beat either in specs or use, but in looks this far out plays Lancelot Albion and Guren S.E.I.T.E.N.

Considering I made this for a rp room based after the conclusion of the series, in which directed-energy weapons are forbidden, in order to keep weapons like the F.l.e.i.j.a. away from the battlefield. (and because most mech savvy people would probably post clones of the S.E.I.T.E.N., and ALBION if not attempt to make an even BETTER unit). With that in mind I made these as effective as possible for their roles, and considering the majority of these were to be unmanned, specifications above the average soldiers unit would not be necessary. Granted there are still several other units I need to finish designing for the room, most of which do have high-spec equipment, with the exception of a pseudo Portmann II which will fulfill the naval role for the antagonistic side. I do appreciate your feedback, and I'm glad you like this design, it took quite a while to get this to work, BTW it doesn't have to use Grenade cannon's, they can be swapped out for Vulcan guns. (however the Guren has one in all of its forms, granted a lower caliber than the monsters on this.)

Oh I see, that makes a bit more sense now, I must have missed the Vulcan cannon bit.

But I didn't mean energy weapons, I meant like even just a standard assault rifle like the Glasgow had.

Also weren't 7th Gen and up too complicated for regular pilots?

7th Gen included of Lancelot and Guren Mk-II, which were both too complicated for regular pilots and as such couldn't be piloted by drones and several others including mass production models that although less complicated still could be piloted by drones.

8th Gen consisted of Shen Hu, Shinkiro, and the knight of rounds models, all of which couldn't be piloted by normal people hence their use by the exceptional pilots only, this was even mentioned quite a few times.

And 9th Gen was only Lancelot Albion and Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. both of which were believed to be too much even for their previous pilots, and therefore could not possibly be piloted by drones.

By the way none of this in any way is an attack to you I'm simply pointing out some things you may have overlooked with your specs and equipment. I actually really like this.

this is for a rp room, regardless of context within the series, role players will want to pilot a 7th gen eventually. The drones capabilities over an actual pilot using the Francisca would be completely different. Its only meant to be used in that manner if there are no pilots available. You should also note the Akatsuki/Jikisan is technically a 7th gen, as are the Vincent/Ward, Gareth models.

Oh must have missed the rp room bit too, I'm really slow today. In that case OK I get it, and the bit about Vincent etc. being 7th Gen, yeas that may be true but mass production models like that all have their specs dropped down to that point that a regular pilot can use them, and that only real difference is they are more manoeuvrable and the pseudo skeleton is more flexible. But lets not get into a flame war or anything, i simply misunderstood a few things and I acknowledge that, good work on the design all the same, I quite like it

I would not want to have to fight that knightmare also by drone hive dos that mean it can be piloted by remote control.
